A Rare poster calling for vaccination against typhoid fever 1929

“Beware of typhoid” “A vaccine injection is required”
In the late 1920s, an epidemic of typhoid fever raged in Israel
The British ruled the cuntry and the Jews did not trust their medical system.
The Jews who immigrated to Israel established a parallel medical system that took care of the health of the Jewish public. During the typhus epidemic of 1929 , the health system launched a campaign to vaccinate the entire Jewish population.

This poster was hung on all vehicles that participated in the parade and public buildings

On the reverse side of the poster is a caption that the poster was sent to the Bialik House by the Israeli State Intelligence Service and a postmark with the date 1951
