Original exhibition catalog from 1929 by Boris Schatz who was known as the father of Israeli art and the founder of the Bezalel School in Jerusalem. This rare book contains descriptions of 31 pieces of art by him.

Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design is Israel’s national school of art. Established in 1906, Bezalel is the oldest institution of higher education in Israel. The art created by Bezalel’s students and professors in the early 1900’s is considered the stepping stone for Israeli visual arts in the 20th century.
