In the poster, Israel is depicted as a mosaic artwork, illustrating its construction and ongoing development through the collective efforts of ten figures, each symbolizing a different facet of young Israeli society.

 Each year since the state was established, an official poster is published by the Israeli Ministry of Education commemorating Israel’s existence. A design contest is held between the local most professional and known artists. The poster mostly contains a symbolic motive related to the state of Israel.
