One of the first Israeli Air Force recruitment posters for the pilot course “Youth – Join the pilot course! Contact the Air Force recruitment office” 1949-1950

 

This marked the beginning of the Israeli Air Force and its most esteemed, iconic, and admired pilot course, which to this day is considered one of the toughest courses in the IDF and certainly the most famous.

The poster was printed right after the Israeli Independence War (1949-1950) and is in very good condition. We only know of the existence of two posters that survived, one in the Zionist archive and this one here.
