Description
45th Independence Day Poster, Design: Assaf Berg, 1993.
An illustration inspired by the verse: ‘Rejoice with Jerusalem and be glad for her, all you who love her; rejoice greatly with her.’ (Isaiah 66:10). Depicts a playful, colorful character celebrating the city of Jerusalem with music against the backdrop of the Old City.
Each year since the state was establish, an official poster is published by the Israeli ministry of Education commemorating Israel’s existence.
A design contest is held between the local most professional and known artists. The poster mostly contains a symbolic motive relate to the state of Israel.
