The “Decade Exhibition”

 

The main event of the decade celebrations was the “Decade Exhibition” held at the International Convention Center in Jerusalem. The exhibition opened with President Yitzhak Ben Zvi’s words, ‘And Let There Be Light!!’, as he pulled the lighting crane over the exhibition area. “The first national exhibition in Israel, celebrating our achievements in material and spirit. May the exhibition give us new strength to preserve and glorify the great achievement I announce the opening of the exhibition. Let there be light!!”
