After Ben-Gurion stopped the Altalena. 200 activists of “Beitar” were arrested. And after a few days he released them except for five commanders who commanded the ship. The Herut movement published the names of the detainees and showed that they were Zionists and it was a disgrace to Israel that they were in prison in Beit Shean
