Jerusalem Day in Israel

Jerusalem Day (Yom Yerushalayim) is an Israeli national holiday commemorating the reunification of Jerusalem during the Six-Day War in 1967. It is celebrated on the 28th of Iyar (according to the Hebrew calendar), marking the day Israeli forces recaptured the Old City of Jerusalem and the Western Wall from Jordanian control.
