In 1976, legendary Israeli performer Shaike Ophir debuted a theatrical comedy show titled A Thousand Faces. Sharing the stage with his wife Lydia Ophir and two former Air Force Ensemble performers, Rachel Shein and Mika Sheinfeld, Ophir marked 25 years of entertaining the Israeli public.

According to journalist Aliza Wallach (Davar, January 9, 1976), the show was a kind of “This Is Your Life” performed live, with Ophir revisiting his career through pantomime, skits, songs, and dance.

The performance featured new sketches written by Ophir and Danny Reva, with lyrics by Yoram Taharlev and musical arrangements by Yair Rosenblum. Choreography was by Yaakov Klusky, musical direction by Yitzhak Graziani, and stage direction by Shaike Ophir himself.
