Extremely Rare Israeli Poster “From Holocaust to Revival” 1948
Illegal Immigration to Palestine Poster
Illustrated poster, depicting the horrors of the holocaust and the immigration to Eretz Israel through Aliya Bet – the illegal Jewish immigration to Palestine. The poster shows a Nazi soldier hitting Jews, and a child in a ghetto or concentration camp behind fences. A crowd of immigrants is making the journey to Eretz Israel by HAGANAH ships (Exodus), headed by a man with the flag of Israel, and guided by a soldier of the Haganah. At the top of the poster are the portraits of Theodor Herzl alongside Chaim Weizmann. Apparently hand tinted. Framed and glazed. Signed illegibly at the bottom, possibly: I.S.A.A.A.
