Extremely rare Vintage Israeli Tin oil tank “Sonol Fuel Company” advertisement accessory 1940s
*The horse is made of plastic and is from the 1960s*
In Israel from the 1920s to the late 1960s, it was customary to sell heating oil – Kerosine directly to customers on the street corners, there was a wagon roaming the streets with an oil tanker dragged by a horse. And every time he came to the neighborhood the wagoner rang the bell to let people down the street to buy oil. What memories? 🙂
Sonol Israel, or Sonol (Hebrew: סונול), is an Israeli fuel provider and the country’s third largest gas station chain.[1] The company traces its roots back to 1917 and World War I.[2] Sonol has been indirectly controlled by the Azrieli Group since 2006.
